Equipment for machines from 0.06kW to 1000kW

 

Overhauls of electrical machines are planned in advance to avoid a production stoppage.

 

The machines brought to our workshops are tested and checked. They are then completely dismantled for cleaning of the parts. In order to guarantee quality work, wearing parts are replaced.

 

If necessary, the winding is impregnated to obtain good insulation. The final step is to reassemble all parts and perform full output testing.

We can carry out repairs on your machines in the event of a problem or abnormal wear.

 

The most frequent repairs are balancing, socketing or nickel plating of the flange, recharging of bearing surfaces.

We carry out new winding of small  electric motors up to machines of over 800kW.

 

When we find that a winding is defective, we analyze whether this work is advantageous compared to a new machine in terms of price and time.

 

The machine is then completely disassembled. We raise the winding diagram and we take out the burnt winding. The machines are completely overhauled during winding work.

Electrical tests

A test bench for all electrical machines.

Valélectric has built a tailor-made test bench to run all types of electrical machines. We have a wide voltage range from 0 to 800Vac and from 0 to 1100Vdc up to 400 amps. We also use a frequency converter for applications up to 150 amps.

 

Our test bench is mounted on flexible damping elements independent of our building in order to be efficient in the search for problems of vibration origin.

 

This tool allows us a reliable diagnosis before the dismantling of your machines and an efficient quality control after overhaul.

A modern balancing machine in our workshops as well as mobile equipment

We are equipped with a modern wheel balancer with the latest generation digital control. We can thus perform static and dynamic balancing on a wide range of rotating objects.

We also have portable equipment that is light and easy to implement in order to carry out balancing operations directly on site.
